Our garden sofas are weatherproof and are perfectly suited to being left out in all weathers all year round, however protecting them with covers will keep them looking as new for longer. The cushions are weatherproof but are better stowed somewhere dry in winter, if showers are forecast just take them in otherwise it will be some time before you can use them again until they dry out. Decide on the look you want, the rattan weave are perfectly suited to either a contemporary urban space or a classic English garden. The wooden framed sofas suit a more traditional garden, but pair this with aluminium or brushed steel and they are bang up to date. Look at base and back cushion depth, the deeper the cushion the comfier the sofa and check the back for the degree of support it offers. If possible come into store and try out a few styles. Check the degree of maintenance needed to keep your sofa in prime condition, wood will need to be treated every 2 – 3 years to keep it looking pristine, whereas the rattan sofas only need a quick brush down in spring.
