Spring Flowering Bulbs

Spring bulbs always lift your spirits and let you know that better warmer weather is just around the corner. They are ideal for planting in containers so no excuse for not having a bit of nature in your back yard. Inject your home with a shot of scent over Christmas with a few pots of hyacinths and Paperwhite narcissi or a small trough of Grape Hyacinth topped with moss can look stylish placed on the windowsill. Try making a bulb 'lasagne' topped with some spring bedding; layer the bulbs on top of each other in order of size, if space is restricted this is a great way to have a lot of different bulbs in a small space. There are daffodils to suit everyone, they're not all huge yellow trumpets. We have the gorgeous Pheasant Eye, white with a tiny red and yellow centre, Tete-a-tete and Jetfire tiny daffs suitable for rockeries and containers and masses inbetween including one with white petals and a pink trumpet.
