There are styles to suit every garden layout from the chic urban entertaining space to the quintessential English garden.

The natural rock formations look fantastic incorporated into a jungle planting scheme or as part of a rockery. The traditional suit being surrounded by plants and the geometric would suit being raised on a short plinth. They all need to be within hearing distance of your seating area to ease your stressful day.

The water features need to be sited on a solid surface which is precisely level. You don't need a water source as they are all self contained. You do need an electricity supply, if possible either dig in the cable or run it around the walls, on no account leave it trailing across paths and the patio as that's just an accident waiting to happen.

Eventually you will get a build up of algae which will need to be cleaned off. This can be done with a dedicated cleaner, make sure your pets cannot access this and that it is thoroughly rinsed. You can also use a mild solution of washing-up liquid which is much less harmful to pets.
