Is The Outside Of The Alfa Wood Fired Oven Safe To Touch When Lit?

Alfa developed technology ensures the outside of the oven stays cool

Alfa have developed the unique ForninoxTM technology which combines a standard refractory floor with a nickel-free stainless steel dome. The dome is insulated with ceramic refractory fibre which can shield the user from temperatures as high as 1260C (2300F), so more than adequate to protect anyone who touches the dome whilst in use, as it is unlikely that the chamber will reach anywhere near this temperature.
