How To Clean The Oven Floor of An Alfa Wood Fired Oven

Keep your pizza oven in top condition with a few minutes easy cleaning

The Alfa wood fired oven could not be easier to clean. It is completely environmentally friendly in that you do not need any chemicals just clean water.

  • When you have finished cooking just move the fire over any stuck-on food residue, which will then carbonise.
  • Once the fire has cooled scrape the carbon off the floor with the peel, then brush with the brass bristled brush.
  • Sweep all the remains out of the oven.
  • Take a tea towel, soak in plain water and wrap around the head of the brush, wash the floor of the oven and you’re all set for your next pizza.

There is no need to do this every time you cook, just when there is a build-up of food remains.
