Broken strands of synthetic rattan garden furniture can easily be repaired
The strands of good quality polyethylene rattan outdoor garden furniture should not break easily, but cheaper sets are not made from good quality weave so can snap quite easily, especially if left out in a hard winter.
Carry out the repair in a well-ventilated area, preferably outside.
All you need is some epoxy resin and a small sculpting tool. Just cover the break with the resin and sculpt to look like the surrounding weave. Leave to harden for at least 24 hours.
You may have to paint or dye the resin to match the surrounding material.
